iPhone 4 is here

As a loyal mac user and iPhone owner, I was pretty excited when the rumors of the new iPhone started circulating a few months ago. Those rumors can finally be put to rest as we get ready to say hello to the new iPhone: iPhone 4. Available for purchase on June 24 and pre-order on June 15, the latest iPhone model boasts a new look and new features that set it ahead of its competitors.

First of all, the design. The new iPhone is covered front and back by two glossy aluminosilicate glass panels, the same stuff they make helicopter windshields out of. The phone is said to be 20 times stiffer and 30 times harder than plastic. This phone will be tough and scratch resistant to the max. The sleek, backlit LED screen has a pixel density of 326 pixels per inch. This makes the iPhone 4 screen the highest resolution phone screen ever. The iPhone 4 has four times the pixel count of previous models.

With its multiple cameras (one on the front, another on the back), the iPhone 4 allows users to make video calls (dubbed FaceTime) with a simple tap of the screen. Users will also be able to run and switch between multiple apps without slowing down the phone’s performance. Another improvement to the new model is that users will now be able to record and watch videos in full HD.

For more details, features, specs, and more, head on over to Apple’s website.
